If you arrived here, perhaps God wills it:)
I’ve believed in God for many years. Since 2018, I’ve been an adherent of the Lord in the Bible.
At the same time, I realize that for many people, it might seem hard to relate the Bible to a modern context. Then again, maybe it’s as easy ever.
On April 20, 2020, oil reached $-37.63 (see here.) It was a reversal of truly Biblical proportions, given how the price of oil has influenced the world since at least the 70s.
The overt evil displayed by the wicked tenants (Mark 12:1-12) reminds us that people are no worse now than before.
The shameless lying that’s so common today hearkens back to Isaiah 5:20.
While some people may find it hard to believe some events in the Bible, one might take the opposite view: we have modern examples just as surprising as what’s mentioned in the Bible.
For those who see evil as a reason not to believe in God, please be reminded that evil developed by itself on Earth, and that the devil rules the Earth now (Matthew 4:8-9).
I wander the Bible daily. In this blog, I hope to mention passages I visit.
